The federal government has slashed the prices of petroleum products by up to Rs3.32 per litre, effective from midnight.
The revised rates will remain in place for the next 15 days.
According to a notification issued by the Ministry of Finance late on Sunday, the price of high-speed diesel (HSD) has been reduced by Rs3.05 per litre, bringing it down from Rs258.43 to Rs255.38 per litre.
However, petrol prices remain unchanged at Rs252.10 per litre.
The notification further stated that the price of kerosene oil has been slashed by Rs3.32 per litre, while light diesel oil (LDO) has seen a reduction of Rs2.78 per litre.
The price adjustments, effective from midnight, will be applicable for the next fortnight.
