Gold prices in Pakistan witnessed a significant decline on Friday, reflecting a drop in the international market.
According to the All-Pakistan Gems and Jewellers Sarafa Association, the price of gold per tola fell by Rs5,000, reaching Rs277,800, while the 10-gram gold price dropped by Rs4,286, settling at Rs238,169.
This decrease came after a rise of Rs2,300 per tola on Thursday.
Internationally, gold prices also declined, with the rate falling $50 to $2,666 per ounce (with a premium of $20).
Meanwhile, silver prices in Pakistan dropped by Rs50, bringing the price per tola to Rs3,400.
