Terrorism incidents claimed 924 lives in 10 months

ISLAMABAD:

As many as 924 Pakistanis lost their lives and 2,121 others were injured in 1,566 incidents of terrorism during the last 10 months.

According to a document received by The Express Tribune, among those who lost lives in terrorism incidents include 573 security personnel and 351 civilians. Those who were injured in terrorism incidents include 1,353 security personnel and 768 civilians.

During the same period, security forces killed 341 terrorists in 12,801 IBOs. The document revealed that the highest number of terrorism incidents (948) took place in K-P, followed by 582 in Balochistan, 24 in Sindh, 10 in Punjab and 2 in Islamabad.
