Senior health officials of the Mansehra district came under severe criticism in the Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa (K-P) Assembly for their 'poor performance.'
K-P Assembly Speaker Babar Saleem Swati reprimanded health officials, questioning why the public continues to suffer in hospitals when the department has spacious buildings, modern machinery, competent staff, and access to government medicines and health care facilities.
"What excuse is left for this rampant negligence?" the speaker demanded.
He emphasised the need to ensure staff presence and the availability of medicines at Basic Health Units (BHUs) and Rural Health Units (RHUs) across Mansehra to alleviate the pressure on King Abdullah Hospital.
