Senior journalist and cricket analyst Aalia Rasheed has been nominated as a member of the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) Board of Governors. She will represent the state television channel on the board.

Aalia has been chosen to replace Usama Azhar and will be responsible for managing all matters between the state TV and the PCB.

Currently, she is serving as the Executive Director of Sports at the state television network, a role she continues to excel in.

With her extensive experience in sports journalism and cricket commentary, Aalia Rashid is expected to bring valuable insights and expertise to the PCB’s governance.

Aalia Rasheed previously made history as the first woman to serve as the Director of Media and Communication for the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB).

With an impressive 35-year career in sports journalism, she brought valuable expertise to the role. Rasheed's deep understanding of the sports industry and her distinguished journalistic career made her a key member of the PCB's leadership team.

Before joining the PCB, Rasheed spent eight years as a respected cricket analyst on a private news channel.
