Senator Faisal Vawda and PTI Chairman Barrister Gohar Ali Khan met in the Parliament House on Wednesday, where they exchanged a handshake and briefly interacted.

When a reporter asked about the meeting, referencing Barrister Gohar's earlier comments regarding Vawda, the senator responded by defending his colleague. "Please don't put my brother in trouble, he is a good person", Vawda said.

The unexpected interaction came as Vawda continues to be actively involved in political affairs. Just days ago, he visited the MQM-P headquarters in Karachi, where he discussed the country’s current political situation.

In an exclusive interview with Express News earlier, Vawda made a bold claim regarding the case of General Faiz Hameed, the former head of Inter-Services Intelligence (ISI). He stated that the trial of Hameed will not only be limited to a court martial but will also lead to punishment.

"I have previously stated that the civil disobedience movement scheduled for December 14 is directly linked to the trial of Faiz Hameed. It is unacceptable that the trial of one individual takes place while his supporters go untried," he said.
