Target killer confesses to killing 2 MQM workers: CID
Police currently raiding different locations to arrest accomplices of the target killer.
KARACHI:
An accused target killer has confessed to murdering two Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) workers, the CID revealed on Tuesday.
CID officer, SSP Fayyaz Khan said that the accused who had been arrested from Madina town along with weapons, had confessed to killing two people linked with the MQM, Umair and Mansoor.
According to sources, the accused has links to a political party.
Police say they are currently raiding different locations to apprehend the target killer’s accomplices.
Police and Rangers arrested more than 200 suspects in a 12 hour long operation on Sunday, recovering large number of weapons and ammunition.
Meanwhile, a witness on Monday identified suspected target killers, Kamran Madhuri and Sohail Commando during an identification parade in a case related to the firing on a police party in Chakra goth.
