Diljit Dosanjh, whose star-studded Dil Luminati Tour has gone viral over various instances in the recent past, invited yet another beloved celebrity on stage. This time, his show at Bengaluru welcomed none other than Bollywood superstar Deepika Padukone.

In a video uploaded to Diljit's Instagram account, Deepika was filmed crouching below the platform while the singer teased her entrance with a friendly promo of her skincare brand. "Do you know whose brand this is?" he questioned the audience, who promptly answered with a chorus of the 38-year-old actor's name.

"The secret to my beauty is that I shower and clean up with this," Diljit continued, as Deepika grinned offstage. "This is not an advertisement. No one has paid me for this, trust me. Every month, these are gifted to me, so whenever I come to India, I make sure to use them. As for the person who has made this, the pride of your city, can you guess who it is?"

"That's so sweet," the Bajirao Mastani star muttered, gaping in pleasant surprise. She mounted the stage shortly after the speech, graced by the hoots and hollers of the live audience. Dressed in casual attire, she joyfully grooved alongside the performer, lip-syncing to his tunes and tossing a souvenir to the crowd.

Diljit didn't run out of praises. "Deepika Padukone, can you believe it guys? What wonderful work she has done. We've seen her on the big screen. She's someone who has made a place for herself in Bollywood by her own efforts. You should all be proud. We are all proud. Much, much love," he eulogised.

Fans of the two celebrities flooded the comments section with love, with many appreciating the Padmaavat actor's childbirth afterglow. "Deepika was the real gift at the show here," one user wrote. "Mother is glowing!" an enthusiast observed. "The perfect collab we never knew we needed," added another.

Actor-husband Ranveer Singh was also among those enthralled by the mini-collaboration. "Oye hoye! Kya baat hai, yaara!" he enthused in romanised Hindi. Filled with gratitude for Diljit's invitation, Deepika wrote, "Thank you for the memories."

Taking a maternity break from her career, Deepika introduced her baby girl to her followers in the beginning of November. A picture of the baby's feet was captioned "Dua Padukone Singh. 'Dua': meaning a prayer. Because she is the answer to our prayers. Our hearts are filled with love and gratitude." The note was signed with Deepika and Ranveer's names.
