Anne Hathaway, set to star in her third Christopher Nolan movie, is expressing deep gratitude for the director who she credits with saving her career. Speaking to Women’s Wear Daily, Hathaway described joining Nolan's new project as a significant milestone, saying, “It makes me feel like I’m doing something right.”

The Devil Wears Prada actress has previously credited Nolan with saving her career. During the awards season for Les Miserables, she faced online criticism that affected her professional opportunities. “A lot of people wouldn’t give me roles because they were so concerned about how toxic my identity had become online,” she told Vanity Fair. “I had an angel in Christopher Nolan, who did not care about that and gave me one of the most beautiful roles I’ve had”.

Debuting in Nolan’s world as Catwoman in The Dark Knight Rises, Hathaway later starred in Interstellar, where she portrayed NASA scientist Dr. Amelia Brand. Her upcoming film with Nolan remains untitled, but the ensemble cast includes Matt Damon, Zendaya, and Tom Holland, among others. The project is set to begin filming in 2025, with Universal Pictures planning a theatrical release on July 17, 2026.

As Hathaway continues her journey with Nolan, she emphasizes the impact of his belief in her, crediting him for helping her overcome public scrutiny and enabling her to achieve enduring success in Hollywood
