Fat Joe, the renowned rapper and founder of Terror Squad, recently opened up about his remarkable 100-pound weight loss, crediting Ozempic for helping him shed the pounds.

During an appearance on Big Boy TV, the rapper shared the personal reasons that drove him to change his lifestyle.

“I was inspired to lose weight after losing a friend to weight-related complications,” Fat Joe recalled. “That’s when I went on super lose weight mode… working out twice a day, not even eating a cracker. I call it crackhead mode, you know what I’m saying.”

During the conversation, Big Boy, who himself lost over 300 pounds through weight-loss surgery, asked Fat Joe if he had ever considered changing his name, given his drastic transformation. Fat Joe was quick to address the idea.

“We’ve spent millions promoting ‘Fat Joe’—when they announce me at the World Series, it’s ‘Rapper Fat Joe,’” he explained. “If I became ‘Rapper Joe,’ you wouldn’t know who the hell that is. We’ve invested too much into the name.”

Fat Joe also praised Ozempic, calling it the “greatest invention ever,” and called out those who deny using the drug.

The Bronx rapper is also preparing for the release of his new album, 'The World Changed On Me', dropping on December 13, with cover art featuring himself and his late brother, Angel.
