The Medical and Dental Colleges Admission Test (MDCAT) 2024 was reconducted across Sindh as per court orders on Sunday.
MDCAT 2024 entrance test was organized by IBA Sukkur in Karachi, Hyderabad, Larkana and Sukkur simultaneously, in which more than 38,000 candidates including 12,000 from Karachi appeared for 854 seats.
Parents expressed displeasure as the entrance test began two hours late than schedule. Candidates expressed satisfaction over arrangements and for the paper as not being getting leaked as in the past.
Section 144 was imposed around the examination centers. Parents parked their vehicles in a disorderly manner on University Road causing disruptions, but the traffic police ensured smooth traffic flow.
Strict arrangements were made to keep the movement of candidates organized at the centers of NED University and University of Karachi in Karachi.
Candidates were given three and a half hours to solve the paper consisting of 200 multiple-choice questions. No one was allowed to enter the examination centers without the original admit slip, identity card, passport and mark sheets.
