Popular streamer Adin Ross has officially announced his indefinite departure from the streaming platform Kick.

The news, shared via his alternate X account on December 7, 2024, comes amid swirling speculation about his future in content creation. Ross revealed that he will soon release a detailed video explaining his decision.

"I will be making a full video on why I am leaving Kick indefinitely," Ross stated in his post. "I am stepping down officially, and I will be going into detail about this, this week. I will tell you all everything. With that being said, I am going to fully focus on being reinstated on Twitch. Thank you."

The Florida-based streamer’s announcement follows earlier rumors of his association with alternative platforms, including Rumble. Nico "Sneako," a controversial creator, previously claimed that Ross was leaving Kick to join Rumble.

Kick CEO Ed Craven addressed the situation during a November 16 livestream, stating that while Adin Ross is an "incredibly valued member of Kick," the platform’s success doesn’t hinge solely on his presence.

Craven added, "People kind of try new things and try out stuff. You know, I think the likes of Adin, right, if he was to leave Kick, would Kick die? No! Kick wouldn't die. Would Kick lose viewership in terms of hours watched? Of course! Would it lose community? Sure."

While Craven has yet to respond directly to Ross’ latest statement, his previous remarks emphasized that the platform would remain resilient: "Adin is taking a break from streaming. You know, if he chooses to stream elsewhere, you know, I think that's fine. That's up to him."

As one of the most prominent creators to migrate to Kick,

Adin Ross’ departure marks a significant moment for the Stake-backed platform. Fans now eagerly await further clarification in Ross’ promised video, as well as updates on his journey toward a potential return to Twitch.
