Chief Justice of Pakistan (CJP) Justice Yahya Afridi is scheduled to arrive in Karachi on December 8, according to sources.
The CJP is expected to travel to Gwadar on December 9 before returning to Karachi for official engagements. On December 12, CJ Afridi will preside over a meeting at the Karachi Registry, focusing on prison reforms.
During the session, relevant authorities will present their reports and recommendations aimed at improving the conditions and systems in the country's jails.
This is part of an ongoing effort to address longstanding issues within the penal system.
