YouTuber Typical Gamer, aka Andre Rebelo, has officially tied the knot with his longtime partner, Samara Redway, and shared the entire ceremony live on YouTube.

The wedding took place on December 5, 2024, and was streamed for his 15 million subscribers, making it a truly special event for both the couple and their dedicated fanbase.

Rebelo, who has been a staple in the YouTube gaming community since 2008, decided to broadcast his wedding as a thank-you to his loyal followers who have supported him throughout his career.

The decision to share such an intimate moment with fans was rooted in his commitment to always include his community in his significant life events.

“Over the last 15 years, I’ve always been intentional about bringing my community together through major life moments,” said Rebelo. “Our wedding is the most meaningful experience of my life, and it felt disingenuous to do anything but include them.”

The ceremony was held at a picturesque, undisclosed mountainside venue in Canada, offering fans an exclusive glimpse into one of the most personal and joyous moments of Typical Gamer’s life.

Despite being streamed to thousands of viewers, the couple chose to exclude TTS (Text-to-Speech) and donation alerts, making the event a more intimate viewing experience for their audience.

Fans tuned in from around the world and were notified about 90 minutes before the wedding began. The live stream allowed followers to witness the joyous occasion as Typical Gamer and Samara exchanged vows, solidifying their bond in front of a digital congregation.

Rebelo expressed his gratitude to his fans, acknowledging that it wouldn’t have felt right to celebrate such a significant life event without sharing it with them.

His words resonated with viewers as they flooded the chat with well-wishes.“We’re excited to welcome everyone to our otherwise small-ish wedding and can’t wait to see all the W’s in the chat when we get back. We just ask for a couple of weeks to get through the honeymoon first. GG’s everyone!” he added, humorously signing off after the ceremony.

This isn't the first time a content creator has streamed their wedding. In 2022, Natsumiii and BaboAbe, popular Twitch streamers, broadcasted their wedding to an audience of 60,000 viewers.

Additionally, Officedrummer also married in November 2024, during Kai Cenat’s Mafiathon 2 subathon, drawing massive online attention.
