Hotel employee killed, suspect held

BATTAGRAM:

A hotel employee was shot and killed at the Batgram Bus Stand. The suspect attempted to flee the scene but was apprehended by the police just a short distance away. According to reports, on Thursday morning, an armed man opened fire on Khawadad, a resident of Kunai Alai, resulting in his death on the spot.

After the shooting, the suspect tried to escape, but bystanders raised an alarm.

A police guard from a nearby bank quickly captured the suspect and took him into custody.

The suspect was identified as Shaukat, son of Khan Bahadur, a resident of Abbottabad. He said the victim was wanted in a gang rape case, and he killed him after locating him.
