South Korean actor Park Min Jae, known for his roles in popular K-dramas, tragically passed away on November 29, 2024, at the age of 32. Reports indicate that he suffered a cardiac arrest while in China. His agency, Big Title, confirmed the heartbreaking news on December 2, sharing a touching tribute on Instagram. They described him as a “talented actor who loved acting and always gave his best.”

Park Min Jae had been recognized for his work alongside prominent figures in the South Korean entertainment industry. Notably, he starred alongside actress Kim Go Eun in the critically acclaimed Little Women. His death has left fans and colleagues in shock, as he was at the peak of his career.

His agency's CEO, Hwang Ju Hye, expressed deep sorrow, noting the “unimaginable sorrow” of the actor’s family. “Min Jae, there’s still so much we wanted to say and do together,” Hwang wrote, reflecting on the sudden loss. Despite the grief, Hwang expressed gratitude for the opportunity to work with Park, even if it was for a brief time.

In an emotional post, Park Min Jae’s younger brother also paid tribute to the late actor on Instagram, sharing his grief and requesting that people remember his sibling’s legacy. "My beloved brother has gone to rest. I hope as many people as possible will remember him,” he wrote.

The memorial service for Park Min Jae is being held at Seoul National University Hospital, and his funeral is scheduled for December 4. The actor’s death has deeply affected many in the entertainment industry, especially those who worked with him in popular K-dramas like Tomorrow, Call It Love, Mr. LEE, Bo-ra! Deborah, and The Korea-Khitan War. His sudden passing is a great loss to the Korean entertainment world, and his memory will be cherished by all who knew him.
