In recent years, cosmetic procedures such as Botox have gained significant popularity in Pakistan, with many celebrities, athletes, and politicians showing noticeable changes in their appearances compared to their previous looks.

Botox, a toxin that temporarily paralyzes muscles to smooth out wrinkles and fine lines, can result in a loss of facial expressions if used excessively.

Many actors in the industry have opened up about their experiences with cosmetic surgeries, shedding light on the growing trend of aesthetic enhancements in the entertainment world.

For example, veteran actress Bushra Ansari shared her thoughts during an interview, expressing her preference for subtle procedures over drastic changes. She mentioned, “I get my brow lift sometimes... It’s my age that I like if there’s a lift on my face, but I don’t get anything done under my eyes. I don’t want to overdo it so I look plastic."

Similarly, senior television actor Saba Faisal revealed in a recent interview on that she undergoes Botox treatments every six to eight months to maintain her looks.

However, she emphasised the importance of moderation, saying, “The treatments should be done in moderation so that one's natural features and face shape are retained.”

In addition to his comments on the beauty industry, Yasir Hussain is currently directing a new series titled Paradise, which stars his wife, Iqra Aziz, and actor Shuja Asad in prominent roles.
