An "entitled" rapper, Lil Xan, is reportedly evading police after a video surfaced showing him violently assaulting a man during a concert.
The disturbing footage appears to show Lil Xan, whose real name is Nicholas Diego Leanos, attacking a spectator in the front row at his show on November 23 at the Royale nightclub in Boston, Massachusetts, around 1 a.m.
As reported by the Mirror, the rapper is allegedly avoiding authorities.
In the video, the 28-year-old rapper is seen shouting at the man before allegedly bending down to strike him.
Lil Xan explained that he wanted to clear up any confusion about the situation, insisting that his actions were not "unprompted." He said he hit the concertgoer because the man kept reaching for the rapper's genitalia despite multiple warnings to stop.
The rapper stated, "am I proud of how I acted or handled the situation hell no, I feel terrible about it, I'm a human just like you and I will be doing heavy reflecting after this."
After the man tries to stand up, the California-based artist kicks him in the face. Fans intervene to prevent further violence.
Security personnel quickly removed Lil Xan from the edge of the stage, lifting his 5-foot-6-inch frame off the ground, only for him to start fighting with a bouncer, who eventually body-slammed him in front of the crowd.
The incident, showing Lil Xan attacking the fan, has been widely shared on social media, with many users reacting to the event.
"Wouldn't it be a perfect world where people just simply walked out of the venue. Everyone refused to show up for future performances," one person posted.
"Actions have consequences. This is entitlement's ugly face," another commented.
One more user added: "What’s a little xan? Just looks like some kid on a stage kicking someone. Who is this idiot?"
A fourth person pointed out that Lil Xan might have enough money to cover any potential lawsuit resulting from the alleged assault.
TMZ also reported that police were informed Lil Xan assaulted two other people before leaving the club, and officers were called to the venue to investigate assault and battery allegations.
