Police claim killing four in encounters

Two suspected robbers were killed, reportedly by their accomplices' fire, while six others fled the scene.

Lahore Organised Crime Unit killed four suspected criminals, including a suspect in the killing of a police constable, in two encounters. Six accomplices of the deceased managed to escape, while a police constable was injured during the shootouts.

A shootout occurred in the Kahna area when police responded to a robbery in progress in Panjoo village, where robbers had taken a family hostage. Upon police's arrival, a gunfight ensued, lasting about 25 minutes.

Two suspected robbers were killed, reportedly by their accomplices' fire, while six others fled the scene. Police registered a case against eight suspects.

In the other encounter near Narang Mandi, the Organised Crime Unit tracked down two suspected criminals, Fasih Butt and Bunty, wanted for the murder of a police constable in Sanda a few months ago. During the raid, the suspects opened fire on the police, leading to a gun battle.

Both suspects were killed and a police constable suffered injuries.
