Like the true style icon that she is, Mahira Khan stunned in a dark red sari that complimented her beauty in all its "desi girl" goodness. Flaunting a dangly pair of earrings, the Superstar actor also wore a green set of bangles, giving the impression of an appropriately placed stem holding together the petals of a blossomed red rose.
Speaking of flowers, the elegant look was softened with a ring of motia tied around her hair. But that's not all. Sharing more on the outfit's lore on her Instagram handle, Mahira wrote, "Wore this sari two nights in a row. My friends call it 'guts'. I call it 'who cares?'"
The Humsafar actor's caption is a timeless reminder of the absurd expectation placed on celebrities to not be an 'outfit repeater'. She does not shy away from promoting the fact that anyone can bring their A-game, even if they choose to recycle their looks. Confidence is key and the supplement that goes with any outfit.
It seems that Mahira just can't get enough of the rosy colour. An earlier post entertained a capture of a bike carrying a number of heart-shaped balloons. "Sometimes life has a random way of showing you love exists," the 39-year-old actor wrote. "PS also, I miss just putting up a picture on my grid of something I saw or liked because I felt like it. No thinking, just feeling."
Evidently, Mahira is appreciative of life at every turn, no matter how others might perceive her for it. She never fails to remind us that lives beyond expectations. With a flowing fur coat draped around her shoulders, she proudly documented her walk down the street. "I wore this coat to a fancy-shmancy place... and got really made fun of. Like really. And then I loved it even more and wore it all the time," she declared.
