Three-day curfew imposed in South Waziristan

The district administration has imposed a three-day curfew in the Lower South Waziristan areas of Sanga and Inzar Chinna from Sunday (today).

A notification issued by the Deputy Commissioner's office said on Saturday that no public movement would be allowed during the curfew hours and that it would remain in effect from 5am to 6pm.

It also said the curfew had been imposed to ensure the safe movement of security forces in these areas.

In the notification, the Deputy Commissioner of Lower South Waziristan, Nasir Khan, appealed to the people of Shakai tehsil to extend complete cooperation in that regard.
