Man returning home from bank robbed

The accused chased the victim from the bank upto his home.

Five suspects riding motorcycles robbed an elderly man who was leaving the bank after withdrawing money in Federal B Area of the Central District.

Also, the armed men robbed two citizens in Gulshan-e-Hadeed. CCTV footage of the three incidents has come to light.

According to details, five accused riding motorcycles robbed an elderly man who was leaving the bank with money in the Federal B Area Block 13 of the Central District. As soon as the elderly man got off the rickshaw and reached the doorstep of the house, the accused took the elderly man at gunpoint and also beat him while committing the crime.

The accused chased the victim from the bank upto his home.

The victim did not inform the police about the incident. However, the police have contacted the victim and obtained details. Further investigation is underway regarding the incident.

Meanwhile, armed suspects snatched a mobile phone from a young man in Gulshan-e-Hadeed. Faces of the suspects are clear in the CCTV.

In another incident, a man was shot and injured by alleged robbers near Johar Morr.

According to details, the incident occurred near the K-Electric office in the jurisdiction of Sharea Faisal police station limits. The injured individual was shifted to Jinnah Hospital where he was identified as 45-year-old Abdul Kareem, son of Zameer Hussain.

The shooting occurred during a robbery attempt when the victim resisted. Police are investigating.
