Fitness influencer and YouTuber Shane Stoffer, better known as "TOGI," has shared a shocking and terrifying account of a recent overdose that nearly cost him his life.

On November 28, 2024, Stoffer took to X (formerly Twitter) to reveal that he had overdosed on what he believed to be Adderall mixed with methamphetamine after being awake for three days straight, trying to meet a deadline for his YouTube video.

"I could have easily died last night," Stoffer wrote in his post, along with a photo of himself from the hospital. He went on to explain that his obsessive drive to succeed had led to a dangerous situation: "Hadn't slept in 3 days trying to get my YT (YouTube) video out. At some point, accidentally got my hands on some Adderall cut with meth and overdosed."

In a heartfelt message to his fans, Stoffer recounted his terrifying experience as he struggled to stay alive. "Another thing, before the ambulance came as I was seizing on the ground, 100% sure that my time has come," Stoffer said.

"I did not get that special flash of remembering all your best life memories. It was more a moment of: 'Holy fk, this hurts so fking bad and I’m way too young to die at my own hand. Unlimited potential cut short because you got greedy.'"

In a sobering final message, he urged his followers to take care of themselves and reflect on the consequences of their actions: "Take care of yourself, my friends. Imagine how sad ur mother would be if you passed."

Shane Stoffer, 24, hails from Bozeman, Montana, and is a prominent fitness influencer with a rapidly growing fanbase.

In just a year since starting his YouTube channel, he has accumulated over 350,000 subscribers and continues to captivate his audience with his fitness tips, lifestyle, and physique content. Despite the success, Stoffer has recently been the subject of controversy, particularly after his comments on testosterone use were called out by fellow influencer Greg Doucette.

In a video titled Togi Needs Help, Doucette criticized Stoffer for promoting steroid use, including testosterone therapy, which he believes can have dangerous consequences.

This recent health scare has placed Stoffer in the spotlight once again, as his fans and the broader fitness community react to his ordeal. Stoffer's message to his followers is clear: health and well-being should always come before success.
