Liam Payne, the former One Direction singer, tragically passed away on October 16, 2024, after falling from a hotel balcony in Buenos Aires. New reports, based on documents obtained by TMZ, outline Payne's final hours leading up to his death, suggesting that he was on a heavy alcohol and drug binge. According to prosecutors, Payne ordered nine bottles of whisky and 13 grams of cocaine over the course of his final day. His actions during the hours preceding his death, including erratic behavior and interactions with prostitutes, paint a disturbing picture.
The timeline reveals that Payne first ordered four bottles of whisky at 10 p.m. on October 15, followed by another five bottles at 6:36 a.m. on October 16. Around 7 a.m., he texted his friend, Rogelio "Roger" Nores, indicating plans to meet a prostitute. At 9:32 a.m., Payne requested six grams of cocaine. Shortly thereafter, he met with two prostitutes, but reportedly refused to pay for their services, becoming angry and damaging hotel property.
Prosecutors claim that Nores, who had previously been involved in Payne's care, failed to inform the singer's family about his escalating struggles with substance abuse. By the afternoon, witnesses reported Payne acting erratically, and he was escorted back to his room by hotel staff. At some point, it is believed Payne tried to escape his locked room by climbing down from the balcony, which led to his fatal fall.
An autopsy confirmed that Payne suffered a cranial fracture and internal bleeding from the fall. Toxicology results revealed a cocktail of drugs, including cocaine, crack, and "pink cocaine," in his system. His death is being investigated, and two individuals, including a drug dealer and a hotel employee, face charges related to supplying him with drugs.
