Lindsay Lohan stars in Netflix's latest holiday rom-com Our Little Secret, where she reunites with Pretty Little Liars actor Ian Harding as estranged exes who are forced to spend Christmas together after learning that their current partners are siblings.

The film features a unique twist on the holiday romance genre, with Harding noting the unpredictability of the plot. Unlike many Christmas films where couples are clearly destined to reunite, Our Little Secret keeps audiences guessing, allowing the characters to explore their past and discover if they are meant to be together again.

Kristin Chenoweth joins the cast as Lohan’s mother-in-law, channeling a Southern “mean girl” character. To prepare, Chenoweth drew inspiration from iconic comedians like Teri Garr and Carol Burnett, along with her own experiences people-watching in malls and restaurants. She even hinted at drawing from certain relatives for inspiration, though she remained tight-lipped about specific family members.

Lohan also reflected on her role in the movie's opening scene, set a decade earlier, when her character and Harding’s are still a couple. The two actors reminisced about their favorite early 2010s hits while preparing for this throwback scene. Lohan joked that they had fun revisiting that period, although Harding realized that ten years ago felt more like twenty.

In addition to Our Little Secret, Lohan is gearing up for another reunion with her Freaky Friday co-star Chad Michael Murray in the upcoming sequel, Freakier Friday. Lohan shared her excitement for the film, revealing that Murray plays a key role and promises a fun, heartwarming story.
