A fire broke out in a paint manufacturing company located in a two-story building near Gabol Goth in New Karachi on Wednesday. The blaze reduced goods worth hundreds of thousands of rupees to ashes. No casualties were reported.
Explosions rocked the factory building intermittently during the fire, sparking panic in the area.
Firefighters battled the inferno with five fire tenders, one snorkel, and one bowser. The police and volunteers from welfare organisations also rushed to the scene.
The fire was finally brought under control after a three-hour battle. A vehicle parked on the ground floor and valuable goods stored on other floors were destroyed.
According to Fire Officer Arif Mansoori, the single exit in the factory posed significant challenges in controlling the fire.
