Tony "The Closer" Robinson, a YouTuber and entrepreneur, is facing significant criticism online after revealing that he cheated on his girlfriend, Nichole Lynel.

Robinson, 41, shared that Lynel broke up with him and filed for a restraining order after discovering evidence of his infidelity. The controversy began after Robinson admitted to cheating, which he detailed in several posts on the social media platform Threads.

Robinson explained that the breakup occurred when Lynel found a "hidden folder" on his old phone containing explicit material of his affairs with multiple women. "I got a new phone, she checked the old phone, saw my hidden folder and me messing around," Robinson wrote on November 26. "Went from happy home to hate my guts."

Following his confession, Robinson attempted to win Lynel back by apologizing "daily," sending her thousands of dollars via Apple Pay, and even delivering her favorite meal. However, despite his efforts, Lynel filed for a restraining order against him.

Robinson’s response to the situation has sparked further backlash, with many accusing him of playing the "victim card." In one post, he suggested that Black men should be cautious because "once you hurt their feelings, they will weaponize law against you even when you’ve never hurt a hair on their body." He also compared his relationship to that of Jay-Z and Beyoncé, arguing that couples should stay together through difficult times rather than break up.

In another post, Robinson expressed frustration over his financial contributions to the relationship, claiming that women are "financial abusers." He alleged that he had invested "hundreds of thousands of dollars" into the relationship without receiving anything in return.

However, on November 26, she shared a post on Instagram reading, “She took one last look back at her old life and said, ‘It’s time. I’m ready for my new story to begin.’”

Lynel added in the caption that she was ready for a fresh start, embracing the "miracle" she believes awaits her as she embarks on a journey of personal growth and rebuilding.
