Mauricio Umansky is reportedly at the center of controversy for allegedly replacing a photo of his estranged wife, Kyle Richards, with one of his former “Dancing With the Stars” partner, Emma Slater, on his desk.
Sutton Stracke, star of “Real Housewives of Beverly Hills,” made the shocking claim during a conversation with Kathy Hilton and Erika Jayne on Tuesday’s episode of the Bravo show.
“After I talked to Kyle, she seemed a little down,” Stracke revealed. “There was a story she told me about a picture.”
Stracke detailed that Umansky, 54, had removed a photo of Richards, 55, from his office at their Beverly Hills home and replaced it with an image of “the woman from ‘Dancing With the Stars.’”
Although Stracke didn’t specifically name Slater, 35, she was Umansky’s partner during Season 32 of the dance competition series.
Stracke, 53, claimed that Richards, who is also known for her role in the “Halloween” franchise, was “hurt” when she found out about the photo change.
“Are you serious?” Hilton asked in disbelief. “It would be one thing to take [Richards’ picture] down. But then to put [Slater’s] up? Come on.”
“Why are you replacing a picture of your wife with your ‘Dancing With the Stars’ partner? All that’s gonna do is make people talk more,” Jayne added. “It doesn’t help, it actually hurts.”
Later in the episode, Stracke visited Richards’ home and entered Umansky’s office, asking her, “Does that feel weird, the desk?”
“Yeah, it feels weird that my picture was taken down too,” Richards replied.
Speculation about Umansky and Slater dating began when they appeared on “DWTS” together in the fall of 2023.
In October 2023, the pair were spotted holding hands and appearing close while dining at Matsuhisa in Beverly Hills.
Shortly after, Richards admitted on “Watch What Happens Live” that she felt “hurt” when she saw the pictures.
On the same day, Umansky and Slater posted on Instagram, denying they were dating and stating they had developed a close friendship after spending hours dancing together every day.
