CM grieved over martyrdom of Rangers personnel

LAHORE:

Condemning an "attempt of the miscreants to crush Rangers' personnel with a vehicle", Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz Sharif has expressed deep sorrow over the martyrdom of four officials.

"The martyrs were someone's sons and brothers, injustice was done," she said in a statement.

The chief minister said, "The miscreants are writing a bloody chapter in political history."

In another development, a resolution demanding ban on PTI was submitted in the Punjab Assembly.
