Electricity Theft: Police to assist PESCO

BANNU: Bannu District Police Officer (DPO) Sajjad Khan has assured Pesco officials of full cooperation in catching consumers illegally using electricity in the district, during a meeting with a Pesco delegation on Monday. He also said that the company will be fully assisted in recovering outstanding arrears. The delegation apprised the DPO about the power shortfall in the country, primarily caused by the gap between supply and demand. Moreover, they added that the power outages were caused by illegal use of electricity and outstanding dues.
