The Express News Digital Satellite News Gathering (DSNG) van came under attack near the Rawalpindi-Islamabad border area on Monday, while covering the PTI march.
The van suffered heavy damage due to attacks from both sides by enraged protestors, who shattered the van's windows while injuring a cameraman.
The van was stationed at Chungi 26 to provide live coverage of the march when an angry mob suddenly launched an assault, attacking the van with stones, sticks and fists.
The driver barely managed to escape by speeding away from the scene. Other DSNG staff members were forced to flee.
