Brad Pitt, in character for his upcoming Formula 1 film, was seen taking a dramatic fall at the Las Vegas Grand Prix while filming a scene on track.

Portraying driver "Sonny Hayes," Pitt was captured limping away from a staged crash site before collapsing onto a padded mat in front of a live audience.

Pitt has made appearances at several F1 races this season, as scenes for the film — co-produced by F1 champion Lewis Hamilton — are shot on location.

In a playful move, APX GP, the fictional team, issued a mock statement about the incident: "During qualifying, Sonny sustained a significant impact requiring immediate medical evaluation... While Sonny is otherwise stable, he will not participate in tomorrow's race as he focuses on recovery. The entire team stands behind him, and we'll provide updates when available."

Idris’s character, Joshua Pearce, will reportedly compete solo in the storyline’s race, "carrying the team forward" as Pitt's character recovers.

The movie is anticipated to bring a unique blend of Hollywood storytelling and Formula 1 authenticity, with high expectations due to Hamilton’s involvement and Pitt’s dedication to filming on actual race tracks.
