Two people lost their lives in IED explosions in Bajaur district's Mamond tehsil on Saturday.
The first blast occurred in the area of Airab, located within the jurisdiction of Loi Mamond police station. The victim, identified as Malik Asghar Khan, was returning after offering Fajr prayers when he fell victim to a roadside bomb.
The second explosion took place in the area of Meena Khor, also within the Loi Mamond police limits, where Constable Ihsanullah was martyred.
Authorities reported that Ihsanullah was on his way to work when the IED, planted by unidentified individuals, detonated.
DSP Hunar Khan confirmed both incidents and stated that investigations had begun, adding that no group had claimed responsibility for the attacks.
