The Rangers and Sindh police, acting jointly on intelligence-based-information, conducted a raid in the Old Golimar area and arrested seven suspects involved in target killing, robberies, street crimes and drug trafficking.
The suspects reportedly belong to the banned Baloch terrorist group BLA.
Eight 9mm pistols, 550 different types of ammunition, 16 mobile phones, 2,700 grams of Tanzania, 1,280 grams of ice, 4 Wi-Fi devices, a motorcycle and cash were recovered from the possession of the accused, identified as Waleed, Adnan, Faisal, Faheem, Sameer and Ehsan Pathan.
The accused have confessed to their involvement in various crimes and revealed that they received financial backing from the BLA. The accused also have a prior history of criminal activity.
