Following the success of Jawan, director Atlee is all set to collaborate with Bollywood superstar Salman Khan for his next directorial venture.
This project, tentatively titled A6, is being hailed as a two-hero epic saga, with the potential casting of either Kamal Haasan or Rajinikanth for the parallel lead role.
Although the casting has not been confirmed, the anticipation for this collaboration is already creating buzz among moviegoers.
According to Indian media sources close to the project reveal that the film will be a reincarnation action drama, set in two distinct eras – past and present. Atlee has been developing this mega-budget film for the past year, with plans to immerse audiences in a fictional world with breathtaking visuals.
The film’s historical elements will see Salman Khan playing a warrior in the period era, with the modern-day dynamics yet to be disclosed. The script reportedly leans heavily on the past timeline, promising high drama and conflict in the fantasy world.
The two-hero saga is expected to begin filming in Summer 2025, with a release scheduled for 2026. Atlee is working on finalising the cast, including a second legendary actor to join Khan, and is aiming to lock the entire star-cast by the end of this year.
The film will be produced by Sun Pictures and is expected to be a major release, introducing a unique cinematic universe.
This project will mark Salman Khan’s return to the reincarnation genre after his iconic role in Karan Arjun (1995). While A6 is generating immense excitement, Salman will also appear in an extended cameo in the Christmas 2025 film Baby John, starring Varun Dhawan.
Further details are expected to be unveiled next year.
