YouTube sensation MrBeast recently made a playful remark about Cristiano Ronaldo’s age during a video collaboration, prompting the football star to declare that he plans to live to 100. The Portuguese legend hosted the American YouTuber on his channel, where they chatted about various topics.

In their conversation, Jimmy Donaldson, also known as MrBeast, commented on Ronaldo’s age, saying: "Almost 40! You're about to die, what's it like?"

Ronaldo, laughing off the remark, confidently responded: "I'm going to live until I'm 100, just to let you know. In football, this is a long career because most of the time they retire at 33, 34 or 36."

Renowned for his rigorous fitness regimen and disciplined diet, Cristiano Ronaldo has defied the typical retirement age for footballers. The iconic player, who turns 40 next February, continues to set high standards for longevity in the sport.

Although Ronaldo left top-tier club football in January 2023 to join the Saudi Pro League, he still delivers impressive performances for the Portuguese national team.

During their chat, Ronaldo also touched on the possibility of playing alongside his son, Cristiano Jr., in the future.

MrBeast brought up the idea, using NBA star LeBron James and his son Bronny James as an example. LeBron, who debuted in 2003 and has become one of basketball’s greatest players, is now part of the same roster as his son, Bronny, at the LA Lakers. MrBeast asked (via GOAL):
"It’s crazy how LeBron is not playing with his son, are you making to make that happen in the football world?"

Ronaldo responded: "Maybe, I’ll see. He is 14 now."

The YouTuber continued, suggesting: "Maybe get him to play when he’s 17, so you’d have to play for three more years."

Ronaldo replied: "Let’s see, let’s see how my legs are doing, we’ll see."

Cristiano Ronaldo's contract with Al-Nassr is set to end in the summer of 2025. If he decides to extend his stay, it’s possible that he and Cristiano Jr. could play together in the Saudi Pro League before the football legend retires.
