Sindh's stance on water issue clear: Sharjeel

Sindh Senior Minister Sharjeel Inam Memon has said that Sindh's concern over water management is not baseless. Everyone has a right on water and starting any project without consensus is not an appropriate approach.

Responding to Punjab Information Minister Azma Bukhari's statement, Sindh senior minister said that the 1991 Water Accord calls for the fair distribution of water among all provinces, including Sindh. Azma Bukhari should first understand the ground realities before making a statement.

He said, "We want prosperity across Pakistan Sindh's stance on the water issue is very clear.

Meanwhile, talking to a delegation of court reporters, who called on him on Thursday, the senior minister mentioned that the Hyderabad-Sukkur Motorway is not just a matter for the Sindh government but for the entire country. The federal government should prioritize the project and begin work as soon as possible so that the entire nation can benefit.

He specifically mentioned the important role of court reporters in maintaining transparency and accountability within the judicial system.
