Rick Moranis, beloved star of 'Ghostbusters' and 'Honey, I Shrunk the Kids,' made a rare public appearance in New York City on Friday, Nov. 15. Known for his comedic success in the 1980s and 1990s, Moranis looked nearly unrecognizable as he strolled through the chilly streets wearing a heavy brown leather jacket, green newsboy hat, glasses, and gloves, with a reusable shopping bag in hand.

Captured by photographers, the 71-year-old actor was seen heading to a convenience store, headphones tucked inside his jacket collar. The sighting drew attention, given his decision to step away from live-action films to focus on raising his children after his wife’s passing in 1991.

Though he transitioned to voice acting and writing, Moranis has remained selective about new projects. In a 2015 interview with The Hollywood Reporter, he shared that while he had no regrets about his career shift, he would consider returning to acting for the right role. "Picky has worked for me," Moranis explained, reflecting on his thoughtful approach to Hollywood.

Fans continue to admire Moranis for prioritizing family over fame while eagerly anticipating any potential return to the screen.
