Undisputed light-heavyweight boxing champion Artur Beterbiev has called out Jake Paul, offering the social media star a chance to prove his skills in the ring. Following Paul’s controversial victory over 58-year-old Mike Tyson, Beterbiev posted on Instagram, “What can you do in the ring against the current undisputed champ?” tagging Paul directly.

Beterbiev and Paul have exchanged challenges since 2022, when Paul said he would prefer fighting Beterbiev over Dmitry Bivol. In response, Beterbiev stated in 2023, “Tell him to call me, call my promoter. I’m ready to fight him. If I’m a real boxing champion, I need to beat guys like Jake Paul in the first round.”

Beterbiev, 39, boasts an unbeaten professional record of 21-0, with 20 victories by knockout or TKO. He became the undisputed light-heavyweight champion after defeating Dmitry Bivol in October 2024, a fight that showcased his dominance in the ring. Only two of his bouts have gone to the 12th round, solidifying his reputation as one of the most dangerous boxers in the sport.

Paul, with an 11-1 professional record, has faced criticism for the caliber of his opponents. His wins include matches against retired athletes and celebrities, such as former NBA player Nate Robinson and MMA fighters like Tyron Woodley and Anderson Silva. His latest victory over Tyson was labeled a spectacle rather than a serious contest.

If a match between Beterbiev and Paul materializes, Beterbiev would be a significant favorite, as Paul’s limited experience in high-level competition leaves many questioning his readiness for a fight of this caliber.
