Mayor Murtaza Wahab has said that the Karachi Water and Sewerage Corporation (KWSC) is undertaking extensive projects to replace outdated and damaged water supply and drainage lines, which are expected to greatly improve the water and sewage systems.
While addressing a press briefing on Friday, the mayor revealed that when he assumed office, KWSC's annual revenue stood at Rs1.1 billion. Today, that figure has soared to over Rs1.86 billion.
