Police claimed to have arrested two wanted criminals involved in murder cases from the United Arab Emirates.

According to the Punjab Police spokesperson, the first fugitive, Ali Raza, was wanted in a 2023 murder case in Bhagtanwala, Sargodha, where he killed a citizen, Zafar Iqbal, over a past feud.

The second fugitive, Muhammad Nadir, was wanted by Kot Mubarak Police Station, Dera Ghazi Khan, in a double-murder case. He had killed two citizens, Muhammad Din and Muhammad Bakhsh, in a dispute. Punjab Police, with the support of Interpol, issued Red Notices for both criminals and continued their efforts to apprehend them.
