On Wednesday, a U.S. Congressional hearing reignited the question: Are we alone in the universe?

This two-hour session, titled "Unidentified Anomalous Phenomena: Exposing the Truth," saw testimonies from key figures and whistleblowers, each presenting new claims about unidentified flying objects (UFOs), or unidentified anomalous phenomena (UAPs).

Luis Elizondo, a former Department of Defense official, boldly stated, "Let me be clear: UAPs are real."

According to Elizondo, advanced non-human technology is being withheld from the public. He added, "I believe we as Americans can handle the truth and I also believe the world deserves the truth."

Elizondo went on to confirm the existence of a secret UAP crash retrieval program, with technology that may originate “off-world by non-human intelligence.”

Retired U.S. Navy Rear Admiral Tim Gallaudet also testified, detailing a 2015 military exercise incident involving the USS Theodore Roosevelt, during which personnel reported near-miss collisions with UAPs.

"We are having multiple near-midair collisions," read an urgent Navy email, which later vanished without explanation. Gallaudet urged the government to embrace transparency, stating, “We should boldly face this new reality and learn from it.”

Journalist Michael Shellenberger brought further claims to light, describing a classified program known as “Immaculate Constellation” that allegedly possesses thousands of high-resolution visuals of UAPs.

Shellenberger revealed that “the U.S. military and intelligence community are sitting on a huge amount of visual and other information.”

According to one source, a 13-minute video captured a white orb emerging from the ocean near Kuwait, later joined by another object.

Michael Gold, former NASA associate administrator and UAP investigator, called for more scientific engagement, saying, "The truth is out there. We just need to be bold enough and brave enough to face it."

Gold advocated for NASA’s involvement, which he believes would bring credibility and much-needed openness to UAP research.

The mystery and allure of UFOs have captivated the public, and with this hearing, U.S. lawmakers aim to destigmatize and investigate these phenomena.

While many questions remain unanswered, this groundbreaking hearing suggests the topic of UFOs isn’t fading from public attention anytime soon.
