In a final press conference before his highly anticipated fight with Mike Tyson, Jake Paul made a bold statement by sporting diamond-studded ear covers valued at $200,000. The jewelry, created by Miami-based designer Vobara, was an evident jab at Tyson's infamous 1997 fight with Evander Holyfield, during which Tyson bit a portion of Holyfield’s ear. “I’m not getting my s–t bitten off Friday night,” Paul quipped, referencing the protective accessory.

The press conference held at the Toyota Music Factory saw Paul continuing to mock Tyson, who responded with quiet restraint. While Paul attempted to provoke Tyson, saying, “There’s a lot of s–t-talk online saying you’re gonna kill me and nothing in person,” Tyson avoided engaging, choosing instead to focus on his preparations and declining to comment on Paul’s provocations.
Paul’s antics extended beyond Tyson as he challenged other fighters on the card who predicted Tyson’s victory. “When I see dumb people saying dumb predictions, I just feel bad for them,” he remarked. When fighter Mario Barrios refused to bet on the fight, Paul responded by calling him “bitch-made.” The 27-year-old social media star also taunted Bruce Carrington, a fellow Brooklyn native, with, “The time I spend taking a s–t is how much you make in your whole life buddy. Shut the f–k up, how much do you want to lose?”
Despite Paul’s theatrics and confrontational approach, Tyson remained calm, repeatedly emphasizing his readiness for the fight. The boxing legend made few remarks, stating that he had “little left to share,” focusing instead on the upcoming event.
