Amid mounting speculation about the marriage of Bollywood stars Abhishek Bachchan and Aishwarya Rai, an old letter from Amitabh Bachchan to actress Nimrat Kaur has resurfaced, reigniting discussions.
The letter accompanied by a bouquet of flowers, written in 2022, praised Nimrat for her performance in the film Dasvi.

The note, which Nimrat shared on her social media, shows Amitabh expressing deep admiration for her performance in Dasvi. The letter reads:
“We have hardly had any interactions or meetings. The last was a compliment I gave at an event at YRF—for the Cadbury ad. But your work in Dasvi is exceptional—nuances, gestures, all! My deep admiration and congratulations. Love, Amitabh Bachchan.”
Meanwhile, the relationship between Abhishek and Nimrat Kaur has also raised eyebrows.
The two actors worked together in the 2022 film Dasvi, and their camaraderie during promotional events did not go unnoticed. During an interview, Nimrat playfully commented on the longevity of marriages, stating, "Marriages don’t last that long," to which Abhishek replied with a chuckle, "Thanks."
According to India media, a source close to the Bachchan family has come forward to dispel the rumours about an affair between Abhishek and Nimrat. The insider clarified that there is “not an iota of truth” to these speculations, adding that Abhishek has been advised to avoid engaging in any public controversies.
The source also subtly hinted at the ongoing strain in Abhishek and Aishwarya’s marriage, stating that it’s not unusual for such rumours to surface during times of turbulence in personal relationships.
Aishwarya has been spotted attending events solo, while Abhishek has been seen with his family. The absence of public gestures of affection, including Abhishek’s omission of a birthday wish for Aishwarya on her 51st birthday, has only fuelled speculations.
