A motorist sped away in his car defying police blockade near Star Gate on Sharea Faisal.
However, the police and Rangers chased the vehicle and nabbed the suspect. A pistol was recovered during the search of the vehicle. The apprehended citizen could not immediately produce the arm licence. The suspect was transferred to the airport police station.
