Popular YouTuber Marques “MKBHD” Brownlee is under fire after a video surfaced showing him speeding at nearly triple the posted limit—96 mph in a 35-mph children’s zone.
Known for his tech reviews, Brownlee’s video sparked backlash when viewers noted the clear signage warning drivers to slow down for children. As reported by Dexerto, fans voiced disapproval, with one calling it “the most reckless thing” Brownlee has done.
Following the negative response, Brownlee removed the clip using YouTube’s editor tool and apologized on X (formerly Twitter). “Last video I did something pretty stupid,” he admitted, acknowledging the dangerous behavior and apologizing for the poor judgment.
