MIANWALI:

A 12-year-old girl went missing on November 8 in the Tariqabad neighbourhood of Mianwali's Piplan Tehsil on Sunday.

The father of the girl, Muhammad Asif Aheer, said Sonia, a third-grade student, left home in the morning to buy household items but failed to return after a considerable amount of time.

Concerned, her father began searching for her.

Muhammad Asif reported to the Piplan police that Sonia had been abducted by a local resident, Muhammad Zahid and his accomplice, Tariq, who forcibly took her on a motorcycle to an unknown location.

In his written complaint to the police, Asif expressed his fear that the two men had abducted his daughter with malicious intent.

Asif also made an urgent appeal to the Chief Minister of Punjab, the Inspector General of Police (IGP), and the District Police Officer (DPO) of Mianwali to help in the swift recovery of his daughter. "I fear for my daughter's safety and urgently request her immediate recovery," Asif stated.

In response to the complaint, Piplan police registered a case against the accused, Muhammad Zahid and Tariq, and launched an investigation into the incident. However, despite their efforts, the police have been unable to locate the accused or recover the missing girl.
