Pakistan-China hockey series in December

PHF announces fixture list for next quarter.

LAHORE: The Pakistan Hockey Federation (PHF) has outlined its extensive calendar of activities for the next six months, announcing that China will be touring for a five-match series in December.

The PHF Secretary Asif Bajwa confirmed that the series will be played from December 18 to 27 with Karachi, Lahore, Faisalabad and Sialkot hosting China. He added that the last quarter of the season will kick off with the first Munir Ahmad Dar Memorial Hockey Tournament from September 23 followed by the under-16 National Hockey Championship to be played at Lahore from October 1. The NBP Gold Cup will follow in Faisalabad from November 15 while the Inter-Academy Tournament will take place from November 26 in Sialkot.

The 27th edition of the National Women’s Hockey Championship has been scheduled for December in Lahore.

The 59th edition of the National Senior Hockey Championship will take place in Karachi January 18 next year with the 4th edition of Junior Super Hockey League taking place from March 1.
