Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has officially announced the squad for the upcoming 50-over tri-series and Under-19 Asia Cup, set to take place in the UAE.
The tri-series, featuring three teams, will run from November 13 to November 26, while the Asia Cup is scheduled from November 29 to December 8.
The 15-member squad will be led by Saad Baig, with the team set to face hosts UAE in their opening match of the tri-series on November 13.
The squad includes several players who represented Pakistan in the ICC U-19 World Cup 2024 in South Africa, including Saad Baig, Ali Raza, Haroon Arshad, Mohammad Riaz Allah, Naveed Ahmad Khan, and Shah Zeb Khan. Additionally, Tayyab Arif, another U-19 international, has been included.
The Under-19 Asia Cup, which will be played in a round-robin format, has placed Pakistan in Group A.
They will face India in their first match on November 30, followed by games against UAE and Japan on December 2 and 4, respectively. The semi-finals will be held on December 6, and the final is scheduled for December 8.
The PCB conducted trials and selection matches to choose the final squad from 120 candidates.
The full squad is as follows: Captain Saad Baig, Abdul Subhan, Ali Raza, Fahim-ul-Haq, Farhan Yousuf, Haroon Arshad, Hassan Khan, Mohammad Ahmad, Mohammad Huzefa, Mohammad Riaz Allah, Naveed Ahmad Khan, Shah Zeb Khan, Tayyab Arif, Umar Zeb, and Usman Khan.
