Illegal bus stands cause traffic jams

HYDERABAD:

The traffic police of Hyderabad have been directed once again to remove all illegal bus and taxi stands from the city as a same order of the Sindh High Court, given in 2020, has not been enforced. While chairing a meeting of the district traffic management board, Deputy Commissioner Zainul Abedin Memon identified 30 locations in the city where traffic logjams occur on a daily basis because of wrong vehicles parking and poor traffic regulation.

At a separate meeting, DIG Tariq Razzak Dharejo also directed the cops to remove illegal stands besides taking other measures for smooth flow of traffic.
